Container Concepts
Repurposed shipping container projects and concepts. Slideshow details a conversion of a standard 20ft shipping container into a flex space suitable for a small office or studio. The design and materials incorporated allow for the container to be moved as originally intended.
Key features include:
- Johns Manville fiberglass batts inserted into the container corrugations- R-13 in walls R-15 in ceilings
- Sliding glass door at original container opening to allow for floor to ceiling natural light and cross ventilation
- Wired to be able to dropped into place and then plug into a conventional 110V outlet for power
- Recessed CFL lighting and LED cove lighting
- Cool roof optimized with a White color paint

Exterior doors kept in tact to provide for additional security and weather protection
Original container wood flooring sealed with 2 coats of shellac and then covered with a resilient flooring
